Tap the + icon from the top-right corner, type the full phrase in the Phrase field, in the Shortcut field, type the shortcut text that you want to be replaced. Create a Keyboard Shortcut From a Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings icon. Near the bottom of that screen, you will see a section called " Shortcuts". To set up your own keyboard shortcuts, go to Settings > General > Keyboard on your iPhone or iPad. After it expands, I then go back to replace the "_" with the recipient's name.
